What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is the art and science of implanting organic and inorganic ink into the dermal and epidermal layers of skin. When the procedure is completed the overall color appears darker than the final result one week later because the color becomes softer and more natural as the outer epidermal layer of skin renews itself.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup is long lasting. After the initial application, you may need a maintenance touch–up in one to three years because exposure to sun, water, and cleansers will cause your makeup to fade over time. To maintain your beautiful permanent makeup you should be sure to get a refresher touch–up.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

New topical anesthetics have been developed especially for these procedures. Everyone has a different tolerance, but the pain is kept to a minimum.
